FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How long to fully charge the ITRAVEL LITE battery?

Use the dedicated 24VDC 2A charger. Charging time varies by battery state and temperature, usually 8–10 hours. When the charger’s red light turns green, charging is complete; it’s recommended to overcharge for about 2 hours for better battery life. For first use: no need to charge initially—charge only when the controller shows a red light. For the second/third charge, also wait for the red light before charging to eliminate memory effect; subsequent charging follows normal steps.

What’s the max weight capacity of the ITRAVEL LITE?

Its maximum carrying weight is 100kg. Exceeding this limit voids the warranty and may cause performance issues or damage to the wheelchair.

Can I fold the ITRAVEL LITE and flip its armrests?

Yes. To fold: Take out the wheelchair, press both ends of the seat to flatten it, flip the push handle assembly up until the back fastener fully engages, then tighten the push handle knob; reverse these steps to fold. The armrests can be flipped upside down for easy user access.

How to install and remove the ITRAVEL LITE’s battery box?
  • Removal: Hold the battery box handle and lift it up to take it out.
  • Installation: Align the battery box slot with the battery holder slot, push down firmly, and secure it with straps after installation.
What’s the driving range of the ITRAVEL LITE?

It varies by battery: 24V 10Ah/20Ah lithium battery offers ≥15km; 24V 6Ah lithium battery offers ≥6km. Range may decrease if overloaded (>100kg), driving on rough terrain (hills, mud), in extreme temps (-20℃ below or 40℃ above), or with frequent starts/stops.

Can the ITRAVEL LITE climb slopes?

Its maximum climbing capacity is ≥3°, and it can safely handle slopes up to 3° (maximum safe slope braking distance ≤1.6m). Never drive on slopes over 5°; avoid forced climbing beyond the limit to prevent tipping.

How to tell when the ITRAVEL LITE battery is low?

The controller has a 5-level battery indicator (2 green, 2 yellow, 1 red). When only the red light is on, the battery is in alert state—stop using immediately and charge to avoid deep discharge (discharge depth should be 30%–50%, max 80%).

Does the ITRAVEL LITE have a horn?

Yes. When the wheelchair is powered on, press the horn button on the controller, and the buzzer will beep; release the button to stop the beeping. It’s used to alert surrounding people during movement.

How to control speed and direction of the ITRAVEL LITE?
  • Speed control: Use the acceleration/deceleration buttons on the controller. The speed indicator has 5 levels—press acceleration to increase speed (indicator lights up step by step) and deceleration to decrease (indicator goes out step by step).
  • Direction control: Use the joystick. Push forward for forward movement (faster as you push further), pull back for reverse (with a beep), push left/right for left/right turns. Release the joystick to reset it to the center, and the wheelchair stops and engages the brake.
What warranty does the ITRAVEL LITE offer?

It has tiered coverage (starting from the manufacture date): 5-year warranty for the main frame; 2-year warranty for the controller; 1-year warranty for other electrical parts (drive motor, battery—battery warranty is 6 months); wear items (tires, handle covers, seat, back cushion) are not covered. Warranty is void if: used improperly, repaired at non-designated places, overloaded, or non-original parts are used.
