Warranty Policy

Drive Medical 5-Year Limited Warranty

If you experience any issues with your scooter, please contact one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives. Metromobility.com will arrange for the required replacement parts to be shipped directly to you at no cost. Every effort will be made to restore your scooter to proper working condition as quickly as possible.

From the original date of purchase, the following components are covered under warranty and will be repaired or replaced, at our discretion, within the applicable time periods listed below.

5-Year Limited Warranty

The following structural components are covered for five (5) years from the date of purchase:

  • Product frame

  • Seat post

  • Platform

  • Frame welds

24-Month Limited Warranty

The following components are covered for 24 months:

  • Electronic controller

  • Motor / gearbox assembly

6-Month Warranty

  • Batteries

Exclusions

The following items are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery only and are not covered by any additional warranty:

  • Plastic shrouds and footrests

  • Upholstery and seating

  • Armrest pads

  • Tires and tubes

  • Anti-tip wheels

  • Floor mats

  • Plastic connectors

  • Metal connection pins

  • Hardware, nuts, and bolts

  • Brake pads

  • Front rigging mounting brackets

  • Any other components not specifically listed above

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not apply if the product has been:

  • Modified or altered in any way

  • Misused or damaged due to an accident

  • Improperly stored (including improper battery storage)

  • Operated beyond the product’s weight capacity

  • Damaged by acts of nature or other external causes

Additional Information

  • Replacement parts provided under warranty may be new or refurbished.
