Warranty Policy

At Metromobility.com, we stand behind the quality and durability of our mobility scooters. Every scooter we sell is backed by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects—giving you confidence in your purchase.

1. Warranty Coverage Overview

This warranty applies exclusively to the original retail purchaser (you) for scooters bought new directly from Metromobility. It is non-transferable and does not cover used or pre-owned scooters.

2. Initial Warranty Period (By Component)

From the date of purchase, your mobility scooter’s components are covered by a limited warranty for different durations. We will repair or replace parts that fail due to material or workmanship defects (not from accidental damage, misuse, or neglect).
Covered Components & Warranty Terms:
  • Battery: 6 months
  • Other Electronic Components: 1 year (includes motor, controller, display, and lights)
  • Mobility Scooter Frame: 5 years

3. Extended Warranty Option

To extend protection after your initial warranty expires, you may purchase an extended warranty.
  • Effective Date: Begins immediately after the corresponding initial warranty period ends.
  • Coverage Scope: Matches the initial warranty (limited to manufacturing defects) and is subject to the specific terms of your extended plan.
  • For Details: Contact our support team to learn about available extended warranty options.

4. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

  • Used, pre-owned, or secondhand mobility scooters (no official warranty provided).
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents (e.g., collisions, drops), or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., worn tires, faded upholstery, brake pad deterioration).
  • Malfunctions from failure to follow the product manual’s usage or maintenance guidelines.
